2008-Pala,Kerala
Designed in 2008, for a couple settled abroad, who wished for a home that was rooted in nature and experiencing the rain, vistas, and the topography of their hometown. Hence, the site chosen has been in the heart of a rubber plantation in Pala that brings out a dotting character. The spaces are conceived as open and are visually connected forming a feeling of oneness. We intend to enhance pleasant views from most of the areas of the house creating a sense of place. The landscape embraces the house on one side and reveals it on the other side unfolding the surroundings.
