The idea of delivering a premium high-end interior in an extremely simple way resonating with the client’s modest taste has been the driving force throughout the project. The apartment located in one of the luxurious neighborhoods of Dubai took advantage of the dreamy view of the adjoining creek and the skyline beyond which surely sets the mood of the home. The plan is concise with a shared living, dining, and open kitchen, glazed walls to showcase the cityscape outside and a corridor to the private spaces with utilities and bedrooms on either side. The three bedrooms are planned in a row with each having a spectacular view of the city. There was a conscious decision to choose a neutral palette combined with wooden elements to maximize the effect of natural light filtered through the sheers. A notable feature in the interior is the minimalism continued, gently accompanied by finishes in wood and metal. The galley kitchen shared with the main space has white cabinets, a subtle contrasting backsplash & countertop, and downlight falling on the counters which seeks attention in the overall setting. Custom art pieces on the walls and the tabletops provide a touch of homeland nostalgia. The bedrooms have built-in furniture and closet spaces.
