Located in the busy city of Calicut, the project intends to showcase the institution to the large online clientele it serves. Being an educational establishment, the design tries to drift from the traditional setting aligning with the institute’s vision for a bright future. It opens new possibilities and represents a space for socialization and interaction. The plan differentiates collaborative spaces and studios into two wings. As Exam Winner offers content through online platforms, the spaces required for its operations were carefully executed in the plan. The entrance welcomed by the reception and other interactive areas lead towards private studios. Each studio is designed to create a dynamic atmosphere and encouraging environment to prepare and carry out different classes. The design is enhanced by the subtle use of coloured furnitures, artworks, and textured finishes which are complimented by white walls. The idea remains constant in all aspects to provide a warm experience for the faculty and diverge from the conventional setting. Large windows and glazed partitions are also among other mindful decisions to provide ample natural light to the interiors and a break from the solid walls. Flexible furnitures and work stations help to respond to any activities or events that the institute organizes. Indoor plants play a pivotal role in bringing green inside an institutional setting, thereby providing a sense of domesticity. Glass partitions, metal fused furnitures and a free-flowing design concept are all elements that shape a modern environment inside. The essence of the space is to motivate the young faculty who work behind the scenes and present the core values of the institute.
